Bookings are now open for our Christmas events so why not get ahead of the game this year and book now?

We have something for everyone at Hempstead House Hotel from our Classic and Retro Christmas Parties to a Festive Murder Mystery and Escape Room Dinner, guaranteeing a fun filled evening full of cheer for you, family, friends and colleagues.

Retro Christmas Gala Dinner:

Taking us back to Christmases of the 20^th Century – those were the days!

Friday 28^th November 2025 – Strictly 70’s, 80’s & 90’s only

Reminisce Christmases past and have a wonderful evening of retro fun with not just a disco, but live music too from the dynamic duo, Ebonie and Myles!

A classic Christmas bubbly will be waiting for you on your arrival before making your way to your table for a delicious traditional Christmas 3 course dinner.

Don’t forget to visit our Magic Mirror Photobooth for some selfie fun and memorable keepsake photo and then dance the night away ‘til Midnight.

Feel free to come dressed in the era of your choice or simply dress to impress. It is Christmas after all!

£70 per person to include a glass of bubbly, 3 course festive dinner, photobooth, live entertainment and disco

Doors open from 7pm with prompt dinner service at 8pm. The evening will close at Midnight.

 

Classic Christmas Parties:

Keeping the traditional Classic Christmas Party at Hempstead House for a night of festive fun!

A Classic Christmas Bubbly will be waiting for you on your arrival before making your way to your table for a delicious traditional Christmas 3 course dinner.

It’s then time to visit our Magic Mirror Photobooth for some selfie fun and dance the night away with our disco ‘til Midnight.

Saturdays:    29^th November *, 6^th, 13^th & 20^th December

Doors and bar open from 7pm with prompt dinner service at 8pm.

Exclusive Lakes Christmas Parties

Perfect for private companies or personal celebrations.

Fancy a private party? Our Lakes Restaurant is the perfect setting with central dance floor, mood lighting and bar for a maximum of 60 guests, whether it be an exclusive company Christmas party or personal celebration.

£65 per person to include glass of bubbly on arrival, 4 course festive dinner inclusive of coffee & petit fours and disco until Midnight. Minimum of 50 guests required to guarantee exclusivity. Available throughout December.

Doors open from 7pm with prompt dinner service at 8pm. The evening will close at Midnight.

 

“Oh No You Didn’t!” – Murder Mystery Dinner:

Sunday 7^th December 2025 - Join us for an interactive comedy panto'crime whodunit in which YOU are the Detective!

This Festive Season the fairy tale magic comes served with a side course of murder, mystery, and mayhem... Oh, and more laughs than you can shake a poisoned pudding at!

When our lovable Prince Charming takes on the role of a lifetime he wasn't expecting his opening night to be his final curtain call and an

ending that’s anything but “happily ever after.” Someone wanted him offstage for good, but who could be behind the dastardly deed?

Is Sinderella dying for laughs? Had Snow Fright poisoned the punch? Can Goldi-lock'em up?

With a colourful cast of fairy tale folk, a treasure trove of clues, and more festive fun than you can shout, “He’s behind you!” at, it’s up to

YOU to unmask the dastardly “Crimble Killer” before the clock strikes midnight! Whether you’re a keen-eyed detective or just here for the

giggles, this Moneypenny Murder Mystery Production Comedy Dining Event will leave you laughing, guessing, and maybe even gasping until the final

bow. It’s the most laugh-out-loud, perilous panto party of the season and you won’t want to miss it!

£65 per person to include a glass of bubbly, 4 course festive dinner inclusive of coffee & petit fours and murder mystery entertainment.

Doors open from 7pm with prompt dinner service at 7.30pm. The evening will close at approximately 11pm.

 

“Escape Santa’s Workshop” – Escape Room Dining Event:

Sunday 14^th December 2025 - A three course dining experience that puts YOU at the centre of the puzzle!

This experience mixes the excitement of live performance with the thrill of competitive puzzle solving… all set over a three course meal with each table

becoming its own escape room puzzle. PLAYERS MUST USE THEIR WITS AND TEAMWORK TO SOLVE THE PUZZLES AND ESCAPE THE ROOM.

After 25 years of successful “whodunit” productions, Moneypenny Murder Mystery Production  provides a new dining theme, hosted by a cast of

costumed, colourful, festive characters to provide clues, and give “life” to the evening.

Interactive, Engaging, Fun…

£65 per person to include a glass of bubbly, 4 course festive dinner inclusive of coffee & petit fours and escape room entertainment.

Doors open from 7pm with prompt dinner service at 7.30pm. The evening will close at approximately 11pm.

For all the above events, private tables are only guaranteed for parties of 8 or more. Smaller bookings of 2+ are of course welcome and will be placed with other smaller parties to make up a table between 8 and 10.

Provisional bookings may be held for a maximum of 7 days only.

A £10 non-refundable and non-transferable deposit per person is required at time of booking.

Full pre-payment is required 1 month prior.

Payments can be made with card details over the phone only or by bank transfer on request.

Please note that all payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Cancellations, either by individuals or as a group including reduced attendance, received 1 month prior to event will result in loss of deposits.

All cancellations received within 1 month of the event will unfortunately result in a full cancellation charge.

Guests are entitled to a full reimbursement should the hotel cancel the event unless the hotel is forced to close following government guidelines where a full credit voucher only will be issued.

Any cancellations must be confirmed in writing
