Hempstead House Hotel is delighted to host our next Festive Murder Mystery evening on Sunday 6^th December 2026.

Discover clues. Question Suspects. Catch a Killer! Moneypenny Murder Mystery Productions returns with “A Crooked Christmas”.

Something is terribly wrong this Christmas Eve... A lavish winter wedding, a grand country house, and a gathering of well-dressed guests. But behind the candlelight and champagne lurks deception, danger, and deadly intent.

Step into a stylish 1920’s festive whodunit where secrets unravel, suspicions multiply, and nothing is as it first appears. Collect the clues, interrogate the suspects, and uncover the truth in this classic comedy Crime ’n Dine experience hosted by Moneypenny Productions.

Question everyone, Trust no one, and Find the Killer: WHO did it, HOW, and WHY?

The “murder” and subsequent investigation will take place during the dinner with the conclusion and resulting winners being revealed at the end.

As a choice menu, guests are required to submit pre-orders in advance. Dietary requirements will be catered for and must be highlighted in advance.

Guests will be seated on tables between ten and twelve. Only parties of 8+ are guaranteed private tables.

To confirm your booking, a £20 non-refundable deposit is required per person with the full balance and pre-orders to be settled 1 month prior to the event.

Accommodation

Accommodation is available from £160 B&B subject to availability, to include full use of the Aquamanda Spa from check in at 3pm to 5pm on the day of departure.

Guests attending our Special Events may receive a complimentary upgrade (subject to availability).
